Quanita and Brent joined their paths together in a beautiful ceremony in Concordia, Namaqualand. They have made it through months of long-distance relationship, when Quanita took a challenge of working on the cruise liner as a beautician. This time away from each other only made their relationship stronger! Quanita and Brent said "I do" in the historic church, dating 150 years back. The bride looked breathtaking as she walked down the aisle towards her future husband. Quanita designed every little detail of her wedding, from the accessories on her shoes to amazing DIY decor of the reception hall. The super creative, earth-inspired decor transformed the venue into a dream celebration hall. Endless drapings and fairy lights completed the look! Their wedding guests enjoyed this fine celebration long into the night. We asked the bride to share some of the memories of her big day.

What brought you together?

" First and foremost our Heavenly Father, if it was not for Him, nothing would be possible. 

27 Dec 2010, I got a friend request from a total stranger on Facebook, little did I know he would be my husband today. 😃"

What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?

Quanita: "Getting ready for the wedding and walking out of my mom and dads house. 

My dad walking me down the aisle, looking and walking towards Brent. "

Brent: "The entire wedding"

Any advice for the future brides?

Plan ahead, know what you want and don't wait till the last minute. And make planning enjoyable not stressful, if you stress you will forget. Be creative and different, and do things by hand to save costs.
