There is nothing more romantic than a Cape Town beach wedding, with the iconic Table Mountain in the background! Adi and Shaun travelled all the way from Namibia to tie the knot in this very special place. Their said their vows and exchanged rings as the sun was setting over the ocean. Table Bay provided a magnificent background for their magical, wind-swept portraits.

Adi was a first year student & she needed a partner for the 2nd year student's graduation ball. One of her friends introduced her to Shaun, as she thought they would make a perfect couple. But the two of them didn't really connect on the first meeting, until a year later. They both went out with their friends and Shaun was sitting quietly in the corner of the room. Adi kept thinking that he looks very familiar and after a few minutes she decided to go over to Shaun and ask him if they've met before. It turned out they knew each other from before and they had a lovely time for the rest of that night. Adi and Shaun fell completely in love that evening and from there on they just grew closer and closer and that year they went to Adi's graduation as a couple. 3 months after they met for the second time Adi's dad passed away. Shaun has helped Adi make it through this difficult time and became her anchor, her best friend and everything a girl could ever ask for.

Now, 5 years later, after everything they have been through together, they say they have found their true soul mates. Their Cape Town beach wedding united these two souls together.Cape Town beach wedding

What was the most memorable part of their day?

Adi: "The entire experience. Being able to have all our family & friend share this day with us and seeing all the joy, love & emotions that goes into such special day."

Shaun: "The ceremony; knowing that we are now committing ourselves to each other, in front of God."

The lavish reception decor in burgundy and turquoise was a true delight! Cascades of flowers combined with hundreds of candles, fairy lights and lush stationery created a truly unique setting for the reception. All the little details followed the colours of their wedding, even the bubbly was turquoise!

Here is a piece of advice from the bride:

"Practice at your dress fittings if you are wearing a dress with buttons.

Normally during fittings, they only close the zipper but make sure to button-up your dress at least once as this can be very tricky & time consuming on the wedding day (even if the dress isn't that tight fitted)

Don't stress too much, the day goes by much quicker than you are told.

Just try and relax, take it all in and remember why you are getting married."
