Georgina and Niall, Rickety Bridge Rock'n Roll wedding

Georgina and Niall, Rickety Bridge Rock'n Roll wedding

Georgina and Niall totally rocked their Rickety Bridge Rock'n Roll wedding! This couple had their minds set on a specific theme and it was all about Rock'n Roll! Starting from Georgina's fabulous gown that was custom designed for her (see the photos!) through stationery and reception decor. One more time the ladies from Secret Diary Design and Print created a unique, customized and daring stationery that set the tone for this fun wedding. All the elements of the stationery and decor evolved around music and stage! The guests were given an "all access pass" at the entrance, like the ones you receive at rock concerts. The pass contained an order of the ceremony and the menu. There tables were named by quotes from famous rock songs, each guest received a vinyl record with a logo and a photograph of the couple. Yes, Georgina and Niall had a logo made for their Rickety Bridge Rock'n Roll wedding!

The outdoor ceremony at Rickety Bridge was a true delight. I absolutely love May weddings, with all the orange and red leaves in the wynyards. Georgina and Niall placed little cards with messages about love under some of the guest's seats. They official called the numbers during the ceremony and the guests stood up and red the messages. The groom's vows were quite spectacular too, a friend accompanied Niall with the song on the guitar. There was loads of tears, as the moment was truly emotional and special. After the ceremony the guests showered the couple with black and white streamers.

The reception was generously lit with candles and fairy lights. The guests surrounded Georgina and Niall with sparklers for their first dance, what created a great atmosphere at their Rickety Bridge Rock'n Roll wedding! The lively dancing carried on long into the night. At midnight a bunch of Star Wars clones came out and turned all the photographs of the musical instruments around, to reveal the posters from Star Wars. The couple pulled out their light sabres and celebrated the 4th of May, the Star Wars day. The guests loved the photo booth with Dart Vader mask and light sabres.

We loved every minute of this creative, fun and unconventional wedding. Well done, Georgina and Niall, for choosing this original and fun theme and executing it down to the finest details. We wish you many more great celebrations with your amazing family and friends. We are sure you two are going to rock it all the way!
